Gstaad

Gstaad is known for its luxury hotels and shopping, fine dining, excellent service, and international stars. It is also one of the largest ski areas in Europe. With a wide range of events, its Alpine scenery, and the array of warm-weather activities on offer, the village is a summer destination as well as a winter one. The middle of the village has been a carfree zone since 1997, and along the Promenade are numerous exclusive shops and restaurants. Lending charm to the village are the houses, which are all built in the chalet style.

To make your stay in Gstaad extra special, contact the Seasons in Style concierge department who will be happy to arrange the following for you:

- Snow-shoe hiking is becoming an increasingly popular winter experience. Wearing snow-shoes, one can reach remote areas that add an adventurous and romantic touch to the expedition. The Gstaad region with its landscape of gentle hills is a perfect setting for this activity and offers twelve different professionally guided snow-shoe tours. Tailor-made tours can be arranged.

- Not to be missed is Igloo building. Block by block you build your igloo for the night, your efforts repaid with a fondue or a hot snack in your self-made room. An ideal family activity.

- Heli-skiing takes you on a breathtaking scenic ride and puts you and an instructor down, allowing you to ski your way down the valley, soaking up the wonderful views of the Swiss mountains.

All of the above activities (and much more) as well as group or individual ski instruction, ski passes, ski hire and restaurant recommendations can be discussed with and arranged by our Concierge department.
