Whistler
Whistler Village was designed with the visitor in mind, featuring West Coast architecture and spectacular mountain views. Whistler is a natural year-round playground with its crisp mountain air, crystal clear lakes and lush emerald forests. There's something to do every day whether it's a thrilling adventure or just some quiet time listening to nature and absorbing the magnificent scenery. During the winter, you can ski and snowboard all day every day, or enjoy cross-country skiing on forest trails, riding a snowmobile to a frozen mountain lake or snowshoeing into a remote wilderness.
To make your stay in Whistler extra special, contact the Seasons in Style concierge department who will be happy to arrange the following for you:
- Climb a vertical wall of ice - a frozen waterfall - with a professional guide. This is definitely an extreme challenge but infinitely rewarding.
- With 10,000 acres of terrain available, heli-skiing or heli-boarding is an unmissable experience giving access to untouched mountains coated with virgin white powder.
- Ziptrek Ecotours is one of Whistler's most unique adventure experiences, featuring thrilling ziplines from mountain to mountain, canopy walks, boardwalks, and eco-nature walks, with a total of 10 ziplines offered on two distinct tours.
- Bald eagle viewing is quickly becoming one of Whistler's most popular activities. Tour buses whisk you 45 minutes south of Whistler to Brackendale - to the world's highest concentration of bald eagles. The best time to take in these birds is from November to February.
- Enjoy a two hour or full day rafting trip down the Elaho or Squamish Rivers. The scenery is sensational; expect to see mountain peaks, glistening glaciers, cascading waterfalls, thick forests and local wildlife. Your trip can finish up with a beach side lunch or dinner.
All of the above activities (and much more) as well as ski instruction, ski passes, ski hire and restaurant recommendations can be discussed with and arranged by our Concierge department.
