This five-star hotel is situated on the Cape’s oldest wine farm just 20 minutes outside Cape Town.

Its collection of buildings date back to 1682 and have been beautifully restored. The 30 elegant rooms are housed in the original Manor House, Jonker’s Huis, restored Barn or in the new Spurwing & Swaaneweide House, each one tastefully furnished and overlooking either the manicured gardens or vineyards. The former winery is now the restaurant.

Steenberg is the oldest wine farm in the Constantia Valley, one of South Africa's premier wine growing regions. The two flagship wines, Sauvignon Blanc Reserve and Catharina’s, a red Bordeaux blend, have won many acclaims under winemaker John Loubser's excellent guidance.
