Accommodation

Mont Rochelle invites you to relax in one of the luxurious bedrooms and suites, most of which offer spectacular views across the valleys and vines of Franschhoek.

Each of the 16 bedrooms and 6 suites is individually decorated, creating a unique ambiance. En suite bathrooms, telephones, televisions, safes, under-floor heating, air-conditioning and in-room refreshment facilities are amongst the facilities of each room.

Restaurants & Bars

Fine dining is available at Mange Tout, located in the main hotel building. Mont Rochelle, a more relaxed alfresco venue, serves Mediterranean style meals in the wine tasting venue.

Gourmet Winelands picnic baskets can be pre-ordered to be enjoyed at one of the designated picnic areas under the willows or between the vines.

The Colonial Cigar Bar serves light snacks, sandwiches and salads throughout the day; the menu is also available to hotel residents at the swimming pool.

Recreation

Mont Rochelle offers guests the opportunity to pre-book a private wine tasting or private cellar tour with the Wine Maker or an excursion through the vineyard with the Farm Manager.

You may wish to follow one of the trails through the vines for an invigorating country walk or a gentle stroll. Mountain bikes are also available. Alternatively, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity, take a stroll down to the dam, make yourself comfortable under the willow trees, and enjoy a good book or a Winelands Picnic.

Mont Rochelle Equestrian Centre offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a three hour wine tasting tour on horse back. Hourly rides can also be arranged.
