Accommodation

78 exquisitely appointed suites in free-standing two-tiered villas (four to a villa) are linked by short landscaped pathways to the nearby main building and accessed by foot or battery operated golf carts.

All suites maximise the spectacular views of the Knysna Lagoon or Indian Ocean and the Pezula Championship Golf Course, and are decorated in a contemporary African style, with warm earth tones predominating.

Suites are utterly indulgent, completely private and exude a sense of luxury and comfort from the real log fireplaces to the underfloor heating in the bathrooms.

Restaurants & Bars

Pezula offers a number of unique dining experiences.

The Executive Chef combines vast experience with a deep devotion to using local organic products prepared with a global twist to create his 'Modern Ethnic' menus.

The highly acclaimed Zachary's is a sophisticated world-class gourmet restaurant, serving up local ingredients inspired by global influences. Named after the Chairman's much loved, Zachary's is stylish and contemporary and reflects the five star luxury of the hotel. Zachary's impressive wine cellar stocks a superb collection of local and international wines, including South African boutique blends.

The Champagne and Whisky Bar is a chic, inviting space on the lower level of the hotel open from 10am until late each day of the week. It carries an excellent selection of champagnes and over forty different whiskies.

Recreation

Guests have access to the Private Estate including tennis courts, multi-sports oval and golf driving range at the Field of Dreams, and the Barnyard and Country Store where guests meet for horse riding, nature trails through the Estate's indigenous forests and canoe trips on the Noetzie River. A shuttle service from the hotel also takes guests to the secluded Noetzie beach and the Pezula Castle at the Beach.

The internationally acclaimed 18-hole Pezula Championship Golf Course designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of GolfPlan USA is flanked by indigenous forests and fynbos landscapes and has breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the Knysna Lagoon.
