The Ellerman Villa & Spa has added a 21st-century component to the classic original.

During June 2008, Ellerman House will be closed for maintenance and a great new look to their bar. Improvements are also planned for a handful of the rooms in the house and Villa.

Accommodation

Eleven elegant rooms, including the fabulous Ellerman Suite and the East Wing Suite, are individually crafted to provide a fabric of fantasy and luxury. Original art from the hotel's extensive private collection hangs on the walls while complimentary whisky and sherry is displayed in beautiful cut glass decanters.

Of course, modern conveniences such as under floor heating, satellite television, luxurious toiletries and other technological treats are available, allowing guests to indulge in the pleasure of sheer relaxation.

Restaurants & Bars

Superb food and a cellar of 17,000 bottles of rare South African wines epitomise South African hospitality.

The menu is created daily, and is dependent on the weather, the nationality of the guests, the food that is in season and the wines in the cellar.

Guests are also able to shop for their own fish, seafood or fresh produce for the chefs to create a personlised meal for you.

Recreation

Terraced gardens and a heated pool encourage guests to realx and unwind after a visit to the gym.
