Overview

All the romance of Marrakech is captured in this traditional and charming Riad turned luxury boutique hotel. Ideally located in the historical Kasbah neighbourhood, Riad Lydines offers guests traditional Moroccan living with all the luxurious accoutrements for which Angsana is known.

A central courtyard houses a pool, tables and chairs and a relaxing seating area whilst a rooftop terrace provides sun loungers, a Berber tent with tables and daybed with scatter cushions and a private shaded area with comfortable seating.

There are just seven rooms arranged around a courtyard, with a rooftop terrace giving views across the Rose City.

Rooms have been designed in keeping with the style of the original house and feature carved wooden details and some also have sunken tubs; one even has a private terrace with Jacuzzi.

All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar, hair dryer and in-room safe as well as a complimentary mobile phone for local calls and a portable DVD player is also available for guests use.

Recreation

Immerse yourself in the wealth of experiences that this fascinating city has to offer. The following activities are available on a complimentary basis: bread-making classes, a 'Shisha' session that includes a lesson on the history of 'Shisha and the different types available, a weekly activity calendar that includes activities such as cooking classes, market visits and spice tasting, cocktails with hotel manager and a welcome photograph.

Additional activities that will no doubt heighten your experience during your stay in Marrakech include a horse-drawn carriage sightseeing trip, camel safari, interactive cooking classes that include an introduction to the local ingredients bought fresh from the market, a trip to Sahara & Atlas trek and skiing in the Atlas mountains (during winter).

An all day dining menu and delicious dinner menu are available to be taken at locations throughout the Riad whilst the Bab Firdaus Restaurant provides both indoor and al fresco rooftop dining.

The kitchen at Angsana Raid Lydines is stocked with fresh local produce for your enjoyment including bread baked in wood-burning ovens of local bakeries and seasonal fruit and vegetables produced according to the ancient and environmentally-sound methods of traditional Moroccan agriculture.
