Overview

Mena House Oberoi sits at the foot of the Great Pyramids, with the towering Pyramid of Cheops just 700m away.

Replete with towers, domes, minarets and colonnades, the resort blends wonderfully with its historical setting. Interiors are crafted in traditional style with filigree fretwork and intricately carved panelling, fine murals, gilding, inlaid mother-of-pearl and handcrafted mosaic tiles.

Accommodation

Mena House Oberoi has 523 rooms and suites in the Palace and Garden wings and Cabana style rooms by the swimming pool, some with a view over the Pyramids. All are lavishly appointed with traditionally inspired furnishings and rich carpets.

The regally appointed Presidential Suites, Churchill and Montgomery, each have a large private terrace overlooking the Pyramids.

All Suites in the old Palace section feature beautiful traditional detailing, murals, screens, panelling, gilding, fine upholstery, original wooden balustrading and arched windows. Guests in the Suites enjoy the privilege of private butler service.

There are a number of exciting dining options to choose from at Mena House, including Khan El Khalili, named after the famous Cairo market, serving light Egyptian meals 24 hours a day, and The Oasis, which has stunning views of the pyramids.

The Sultan Bar also has panoramic views of the pyramids; dance the night away at The Saddle discotheque and enjoy cocktails at Mamlouk bar & club and the Abu Nawas night club.

Recreation

The outdoor pool is set in landscaped gardens and offers a fabulous view of the Pyramids, alternatively you could de-stress and tone up at the state-of-the-art gym. Outdoor tennis courts and a jogging track will also help to keep you fit.

There is an 18-hole course right on the doorstep, with distracting views of the pyramids, and horse and camel riding are available at the stables and are the most romantic ways to visit the Pyramids.
