Egyptian Itinerary

Cairo – Luxury Nile Cruise – Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh – Cairo

Day 1: Arrive in Cairo

Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Take a private tour of Cairo (additional cost), to enjoy the sights of the Pyramids, Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum which houses the Treasures of Tutankhamun.

Day 3: Cairo-Aswan-Oberoi Zahra

Transfer to Cairo airport for the onward flight to Aswan where you will be taken to meet the Oberoi Zahra for your 7 night Nile cruise. After embarkation and lunch you may visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple.

Day 4: Oberoi Zahra

Take an optional visit to Abu Simbel (additional cost) or be pampered with a spa treatment. After sunset enjoy a sound and light show at the Philae Temple.

Day 5: Additional Sailing

Sail to Komombo, enjoying a visit to the Twin Temple. One side of the temple is dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek, God of Fertility and Creator of the World and the other to the Falcon God Haroeis, also known as Horus, the Elder. After sailing back to Aswan visit the Botanical

Garden by Felucca and enjoy a cocktail reception.

Day 6: Edfu

During the morning you will sail to Edfu, with spa time available. Later visit the Temple of Edfu, the best preserved temple of the ancient world.

Day 7: Luxor

In the morning, sail to Luxor with spa time available. In the afternoon discover the Karnak temple and Luxor Museum.

Day 8: Dendara-Quina

Explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes. Visit Valley of the Kings with its royal tombs, King Tut’s tomb, Ramses ‘the Six’, followed by a visit to the temple of Madinat Habu. Enjoy a stop at the Colossus of Memnon on the way back.

Continue sailing to Quina with the option of a private visit to the Temple of Dendarah.

Day 9: Luxor

Sail to Luxor and visit the We!st Bank (Valley of the Nobles’ tombs, Dier El Madina, the site of a very special workman’s village, whose craftsmen built and decorated the tombs of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings & the Temple of Hatchepsut). Later there will be time available for shopping or a visit to the Luxor Temple.

Day 10: Disembark Oberoi Zahra

Transfer to your chosen beach resort for the next four nights.

Day 10-13: At leisure

Day 14: Cairo

Fly to Cairo and spend one night at your chosen hotel. An optional private excursion can be arranged to see the bazaars and shops of this vibrant city (additional cost).

Day 15: Depart Cairo
