This hillside inn has fabulous views of the surrounding White Mountains and is a springboard for the great outdoors all year round, whether you want to play golf, hike, swim or ski.

Accommodation

The Main Inn has 16 rooms, all uniquely decorated with private baths with a two-person Jacuzzi, separate shower and a fireplace.

Open seasonally, the Carriage House is located a short distance from the Inn and is decorated in North Country/Adirondack decor. The six guest rooms, all have a private bath and most their own Jacuzzis. The first floor great room with its own brick wood-burning fireplace is a great place to relax - an ideal setting for groups of friends or family traveling together.

Private cottages in a French country decor are available, each having a gas fireplace, telephone, TV/VCR, coffee maker, private bath with two-person Jacuzzi, robes, hair dryer, air conditioning and porch or deck.

Restaurants & Bars

The Inn at Thorn Hill & Spa is rated one of the Top 10 Country Inns in America and is one of only five Dining Rooms in the state to have received the four-diamond award by AAA since 1997.

The hotel prides itself on the exceptional dining it offers, from the homemade baked goods at breakfast, the complete three-course gourmet meals offered each evening to the elegantly prepared desserts.

A private tasting room is located adjacent to the 2,500 bottle wine cellar.

Recreation

Available therapies at the outstanding spa range from massages, hydrotherapy, facials, manicures, pedicures, body treatments, energy balancing, prenatal massage, yoga, and Revive Therapy. Use the fitness room, relax in the redwood sauna or enjoy a sparkling juice drink or herbal tea by the fire in the lounge or outdoors on the porch or by the pool in season.

You can easily walk from the Inn to the shops and art galleries in Jackson Village. Other highlights of the village include an 18-hole golf course, Jackson Falls (a favourite spot for picnics or a cooling dip on a hot summer day), the river walk along the Wildcat River and the 780,000 acre White Mountain National Forest which provides endless opportunities for recreation.
