The Chanler offers guests a distinct and intimate stay, with each of its 20 rooms uniquely and exquisitely designed to reflect a different historical period or theme. Rooms are separated into three distinct categories, with Manor Rooms, Estate Rooms and Signature Rooms.

All rooms and villas have flat screen TVs, wet bars, fireplaces (many of which are antique), CD and DVD players and marble or granite bathrooms featuring heated floors and exquisite hand-painted and hand-glazed tile murals. Most rooms also feature skylights, Jacuzzi tubs and king or queen canopy beds with luxurious 400-thread count Fili D’oro linens. Twelve rooms have outdoor decks, while seventeen offer ocean views from the room or deck. Original oil paintings or antique prints are used throughout.

The Spiced Pear offers seasonally inspired, gourmet New England seafood in a beautiful indoor/outdoor setting on a dramatic oceanfront terrace.

The Chanler is located at the start of Cliff Walk on Memorial Boulevard, offering easy access to all that Newport has to offer. There is golf and tennis on the doorstep, and in-room massage on demand.
