The U-shaped design of the resort's eight-storey, classically styled building ensures that 80 percent of the rooms and suites enjoy dazzling views of the Pacific Ocean.

Other rooms overlook tropical hillsides and the luxurious, landscaped gardens. All guest rooms and suites include comfortable seating, a large marble bathroom and a spacious, furnished lanai.

The three restaurants at the resort include the diverse menu at Ferraro’s, which showcases fresh seafood and the produce of Hawaii, while the casual atmosphere, lively bar and great entertainment ensure that a meal here will be remembered forever.

Pacific Grill's steak and seafood items from the Pacific Rim are favoured fare in the evening. These dishes combine flavours from the East and West with those of Hawaii to create a fusion fantasy.

Voted one of the top spas in America, The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maui offers a nurturing tropical retreat. A selective spa menu, offered in 13 treatment rooms and three ocean-side hales, features Vichy shower treatments, body wraps and hot stone massages.

Extensive fitness facilities, a large pool, tennis and a wide range of water sports are available for the more active, while guests can enjoy activities as diverse as helicopter tours, horse riding and waterfall hikes for a nominal fee.

The rugged Wailea Gold Golf course was made for players seeking a real challenge. A masterful blend of brawn and beauty, this par-72 course takes full advantage of Wailea's naturally undulating terrain and stunning scenery. Strategically placed bunkers and hazards, changes in elevation and masterfully designed doglegs have earned the Wailea Gold the reputation of being a 'thinking player's' course that rewards good strategy and finesse.

Children

Kids For All Seasons is an organised programme for children aged 5 to 12 years that emphasises educational activities as well as contemporary and traditional Hawaiian arts, crafts and games.

Outdoor activities include beach games, gecko hunts, hula lessons, swimming, tennis and visits to the tidepools, whilst when indoors, children can enjoy Hawaiian arts & crafts and story-telling.

During peak seasons, night events are created for children 5 to 12 years old. Themed nights include pyjama, pirate and 'under the sea' nights, and include an all-you-can-eat buffet for a nominal fee.
