The resort’s 243 expansive bungalow-style guest rooms, including 31 suites, feature private, furnished lanais and stunning ocean views. Some of the lower-level guest rooms and suites also offer outdoor gardens and lava rock showers.

Offering a luxurious space in which to entertain, the Deluxe Ocean Suites have oversized living and dining areas enhanced by unique artwork and antiques. The suites are located to provide exceptional privacy and the best possible views of the ocean. A second bedroom with full bathroom can be added to accommodate more guests.

The resort's three restaurants offer a variety of choice for even the most discerning gourmet. Pahu i'a’s centrepiece is a brilliant aquarium, but its focal point is the rhythmic, rolling surf merely steps away. At your table, our chefs pay homage to Hawaii’s bounty.

Nestled ocean-side is the delightful alfresco dining of Beach Tree Bar & Grill featuring succulent cuts of beef, tender farm-raised game, fresh island seafood and the island's most spectacular salad bar.

With a casual yet refined ambience, The Hualalai Grille by Alan Wong features wood and glass walls that are left open to Hawaiian breezes throughout the day. The bar and south side of the restaurant offer gorgeous views of the 18th hole, while the rest of the restaurant overlooks the resort's manicured grounds. Watch your culinary masterpiece take shape in the exhibition kitchen.

Recreation

Recreational facilities include three oceanfront pools, a lap pool and tennis, while another popular daytime excursion is to the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature Hualalai Golf Course, crafted with extreme sensitivity to the land. Winding over 7,100 yards, this carefully groomed course begins in a lush oasis and then flows across brilliant green fairways contoured against black lava. Finally, the course returns to the ocean, where the finishing holes capture the drama and the beauty of direct seaside golf.

Activities included swimming with fish and rays in a natural pond - King's Pond - formed by lava or an ambitious uphill hike to witness the volcano that created the island.

Hualalai Sports Club and Spa

The Hualalai Sports Club and Spa is uniquely Hawaiian, reflecting the islands' aloha spirit. The lap pool, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and cold plunges are all set amidst tropical gardens. Exotic spa treatments or massage can be enjoyed in the open air, secluded behind bamboo screens.
