Accommodation

The twenty spacious suites blend harmoniously into their tropical surroundings. They are designed in a simple, easy décor and are beautifully appointed.

Suites have a cool tropical feel created by cane armchairs, linen fabrics, large ceiling fans, reed bamboo blinds, coconut mats and natural lighting emitted from lamps made of coconut shells.

Bright and spacious bathrooms are complemented by outdoor showers whilst a comfortably furnished terrace looks out over the transparent lagoon.

All 26 villas have 4 en-suite bedrooms with lounge area, dining area, private infinity pool and fully equipped kitchen.

Restaurants & Bars

In front of the swimming pool, the Creole style Restaurant Le Veloutier has a stunning view over the sea. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests will enjoy a variety of tables d'hote, cooking shows or a seafood festival. The cuisine is a fusion of Creole, French and cosmopolitan.

Under the thatched roof of the Beach Restaurant, guests can enjoy a 'feet in the sand' meal for breakfast, lunch, an intimate candlelit diner or a lobster evening.

Overlooking the swimming pool and the sea and surrounded by coconut trees, Bar l'Amirante provides the perfect end to the day as you sip cocktails while watching the stunning sunset.

Recreation

The emphasis here is firmly fixed upon relaxation whether around the pool or upon the beaches, although tennis, cycling and walks along the nature trails are more active pursuits that are also readily available.

For those interested in deep-sea fishing, the resort’s boat will whisk guests off to well-stocked waters, snorkelling fans can join an excursion to the aptly-titled ‘Aquarium’ or for those waterbabes who wish to stay closer to the shore, a variety of watersports including windsurfing, pedal boats and kayaks are available.

Coconut Spa

The coconut spa offers a selection of facial and body treatments, massages and special packages in a tropical environment that will leave you feeling wonderfully exhilarated. Beauty treatments and reflexology complete your passport to health and vitality.

Five-Star PADI Dive Centre

The underwater dive sites, all within 20 minutes of the resort really are exceptional, the famous Desroches Island Drop one of the best in the Indian Ocean.

With such a variety of sites, there is plenty of variety for beginners and the more experienced and advanced divers.

At the Canyon see big shoals of snappers and fusiliers, sweetlips and sleeping stingrays or perhaps even a nursery shark napping under the rocks. The Big Cave is a challenge for the experienced diver - a 6m wide tunnel leading to a big round cave where turtles can be found. The Secret Passage lies to the side of a huge rock and leads to a tunnel where you can spot lion fish, lobsters and glass fish.
