Scenically, the Seychelles have always been suggestive of the original Garden of Eden and now boast deluxe resorts that do them full justice.

The islands have ensured they keep up with all the modern trends, yet beachcombers and bird-lovers have always revelled in these islands, whilst scuba-divers and deepsea fishermen have never really discovered anywhere better.

As each island has its own identity, island-hopping remains de rigeur, holidays usually involving a few nights on the main island of Mahé, followed by stays on Praslin and the smaller ‘whole-island’ resorts such as Frégate, North, Denis or Desroches.
