Accommodation

Accommodation takes the form of prestige rooms, junior and deluxe suites, all of which have private sea-facing balconies and facilities that include air-conditioning, satellite TVs and mini-bars. The junior suites are particularly highly recommended, with their spacious interiors and luxurious bathrooms.

The six ocean view deluxe suites all have a separate living room and an optional feature of being connected to a prestige room, which is suitable for families.

Restaurants & Bars

A choice of seven restaurants await, including the Beachside Indigo restaurant which opens for lunches, La Spiaggia for a la carte Mediterranean dishes, La Citronnelle for magnificent buffets, the Blue Penny Caf for gastronomic cuisine and the Deer Hunter for international specialities overlooking the golf course.

The five bars include a cocktail bar and the Swing Bar, which has a magnificent view of the golf course.

Recreation

In addition to complimentary water-skiing, windsurfing, scuba-diving and deep-sea fishing, guests can also take advantage of four swimming pools, squash and tennis courts and a fitness centre and complimentary green fees.

Alternatively, you can relax in the Spa. The body's energy plays an important role in our well-being and in the art of relaxation. Golf

The two championship golf courses include The Legend, the first of its kind in Mauritius and the crowning achievement of Constance Belle Mare Plage The Resort, located along one of the most superb beaches on the island. Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in brand new greens, built to USPGA specifications. Time has also been taken to enhance the natural beauty of a site originally used to breed deer. Teeing off from the 17th hole (par 3) is a feast for the eyes and a test for the nerves.

The Links is the second championship golf course, and was conceived as a result of the success and demands encountered by The Legend. Sitting beneath the clubhouse which faces the setting sun, the course measures 5,942 m and has a par of 71. Equipped with a practice fairway, this 18-hole course is set in a location which seems to have been naturally created for the purpose.

Children

Belle Mare Plage The Resort is the perfect hotel for families. Children receive a welcome present on arrival, and the Kakoo Club is the place to be for children aged between four and 12 years old. This is where they will make new friends and enjoy a large variety of leisure activities under the supervision of a professional team.

Accommodation is comprehensively equipped with quality amenities for babies and children such as cots, bathtubs and walkie talkies as well as lots of toys.

The resort also offers a 24 hour babysitting service (payable), high chairs and special menus for babies and children in the restaurants and car seats for excursions on the island.
