Accommodation
These thatched-roof villas have been beautifully designed to reflect Mauritian architecture and the Chinese, Indian and African origins of the local population. Think of large windows and wooden shutters and ottomans upholstered in sumptuous fabrics. All villas enjoy their own heated pool, gazebo for dining or massages, lounge, dining room and kitchen. In-room technology includes a flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi internet access. The two-bedroom Prestige Villas are perfect for families or small groups of friends and are located towards the back of the estate for maximum privacy. One-bedroom Beachfront Villas face the sea and have direct beach access, and one-bedroom Ocean Villas have an uninterrupted view of the lagoon.
Restaurants & Bars
Guests have 24-hour butler service and can enjoy the main resort’s four restaurants.
Rive Gauche, the poolside alfresco restaurant on the beach is famous for a splendid Mediterranean a la carte menu, as well as light lunches and themed evening meals. Afternoon tea and tempting pancakes are also served in the creole style.
Indouchine, the gastronomic restaurant ,combines the flavours of Mauritius' multi-cultural heritage: Indian and Chinese cuisines blend harmoniously with a touch of French 'savoir-faire'.
Le Langoustier is an elegant seafood dining room overlooking the spectacular swimming pool and beautiful lagoon, idyllic for a romantic evening. A special four-course lobster extravaganza is the jewel in the seafood crown.
After dinner, the piano bar is an ideal place to relax.
Recreation
Watersports are the main focus of days at Beau Rivage; on offer are windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, minisailing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours and water skiing. At a fee, power-boat tours, scuba diving (P.A.D.I.) and big game fishing can also be arranged.
On land, enjoy beach volleyball, table tennis, bocci ball, darts, tennis and mini-golf, or for those in need of pampering, the Aphrodite Spa is a haven for peace, dedicated to beauty and well being. The complex offers a jacuzzi, a cold plunge swimming pool, high-tech gym, sauna and hammam, a hydrotherapy room and two massage rooms.
Every evening, entertainment is guaranteed with a local band. Various cabarets and sega shows are regularly organised.
Children
At the mini club - The Little Mermaid, which is open from 9am to 9pm - youngsters aged from 3 to 11 years old will be well entertained.
The teenagers' club promises days of fun-packed activities, whether on water or on land.
A babysitting service is also available on request. Children's dinner is served in the main restaurant, for the convenience of both parents and children.
