Accommodation

Each of the 62 luxuriously designed villas is furnished in natural tones and textures. The warmth of wood, the fragrance of flowers and the soft glow of lamps and candles create an intimate ambience in the villas. Expansive ocean views and a soothing breeze relax the senses.

Most of the villas are overwater; each one faces the ocean to offer maximum privacy and to capitalise on the stunning view, and has steps that lead from the private sundeck down to the sea. Alternatively, for those who prefer dry land, Deluxe Beach Villas, just five metres from the lagoon, have furnished verandas and a private plunge pool.

Those looking for something extra special will appreciate the two new Beach Villa Suites with split level accommodation and 180 degree ocean views or, for the ultimate in luxury, the over-water Rehendi Presidential Suite.

Restaurants & Bars

From casual, all-day dining to formal fine dining, guests can savour a choice of gourmet cuisine, cool beverages and the choicest wines.

The resort offers a distinctive dining experience at its restaurants. The menus feature traditional and contemporary favourites of a variety of international cuisines that are complemented with fine wines from the resort’s cellar. Guests can dine at the restaurants or any spot on the island of their choice.

The Waterfront Bar is the place to celebrate the setting sun and the prospect of another day to come.

Recreation

The resort’s PADI recognized Dolphin Base Dive and Water Sports Centre offer various courses for beginners and certified divers by a professional multi-lingual team. The Dolphin Base team offers access to some of the best dive spots in the world.

Water sports from the stunning beach include catamaran sailing, water skiing, sea kayaking and wind surfing.

The Taj Spa

With tropical-inspired interiors and splendid ocean views, the Taj Spa, located at the far end of the resort, is the epitome of privacy and quiet. Fanned around a central courtyard garden and surrounded by the serene aqua lagoon are the over- water Spa Pavilions each with a private sundeck and relaxation space.

The Spa also includes a yoga and meditation pavilion, a VIP Spa Suite and two over-water luxurious couples spa suites. Setting a new precedent, the many blissful signature treatments such as unique spa ceremonies, body therapies and authentic in-depth Ayurveda programs can be enjoyed at the Signature Indian Royal Mud and Bathing Experience Pavilion; an Ayurveda Sanctuary Pavilion; Heat, Hydro and Relaxation experience Pavilion that has a Sauna for guests, with a large relaxation deck and single and double water beds.
