Accommodation

One&Only Reethi Rah is home to 130 private villas discreetly placed along the shore – with 98 Beach Villas secluded by lush tropical greenery, and 32 Water Villas set above the clear, protected waters of the lagoon. Among the largest resort villas in the world, each is detached, expansive and equally luxurious.

Each attended by a personal Villa Host, the freestanding villas feature the latest technologies and are designed with high airy ceilings complemented by bamboo arches, their spaciousness allowing for a variety of personal entertainment and dining options.

Restaurants & Bars

In thatched pavilions over water or on Arabian carpets in the sand, guests enjoy a level of service and culinary creativity that is unsurpassed in tropical island resorts. With an eye towards perfection, the resort features its own organic Chef’s Garden, and speciality items such as Kobe beef and toro from Japan are shipped in twice a week.

Culinary delights can be sampled at the signature Reethi Restaurant which serves a fusion of Far East, Middle East and Mediterranean cuisine, whilst Indian-Japanese tapas can be sampled in the over-water Tapasake and lazy dinners can be had in Fanditha.

Spa

Located in a secluded area of the resort with expansive relaxation lawns and manicured gardens, One&Only Spa commands an impressive space with spectacular views of the ocean.

Natural and healing therapies are provided in eight luxurious treatment villas, each nestled beneath its own thatched roof and uniquely designed to form a soothing natural environment. Two over-water double treatment suites are an enticing retreat for couples. Customized treatments are based on Ayurvedic traditions infused with western luxuries.

It is an all-encompassing experience with swirling vitality pools, crystal steam rooms, saunas and stimulating ice fountains. Lifestyle showers create a refreshing burst of tropical rain, and healthy spa cuisine and beach-side relaxation pavilions complete the journey.

Children

One&Only’s signature KidsOnly programme and teen activities are carefully tailored to younger guests – providing children ages four to eleven and teens ages twelve to seventeen with an exciting roster of activities and facilities that allow for their very own moments of personal discovery and enjoyment.

Under the expert care of a team of dedicated and fully-certified counsellors, children enjoy their own section of the resort with separate dining facilities, a clubhouse and a swimming pool. Activities embrace the island’s natural amenities, including treasure hunts, beach volleyball, football and overnight kids’ camp.

For babies and toddlers, the resort offers professional baby-sitting services at a nominal fee (12 hours notice required). Complimentary cots for children below the age of two are available upon request.

Recreation

With six kilometres of coastline, the size of the island allows for a range of activities both on land and sea. From the sublime - a traditional dhoni ride at sunset, to the adventurous - deep-sea fishing in the bountiful Indian Ocean, the resort has a myriad of activities for every energy level and lifestyle.

Acclaimed for its rare underwater beauty and coral reefs, the Maldives is home to some of the world’s best snorkelling and dive sites. Embark on a dolphin-watching expedition, glide over crystalline waters on a catamaran or soar into the sky on a parasailing adventure. Other water sports on offer include banana tube rides, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing and windsurfing. Enjoy island hopping and cocktail cruises or set out on a big game deep-sea fishing excursion.

The renowned Peter Burwash Tennis Academy challenges players with professional coaching offered on two floodlit synthetic grass courts. Individual and group instruction, following the Peter Burwash method, is available for a fee.
