Accommodation

Guests have a choice of three luxurious villa types on two islands. On Rangali Island all accommodation consists of romantic over-water villas set on stilts in the Indian Ocean, while Rangalifinolhu Island has beach villas with stunning outdoor garden-bathrooms.

At the Spa Retreat, consisting of 21 Spa Water Villas built over the lagoon at the tip of Ranglifinolhu Island, guests can expect in-villa treatment rooms and private sundecks for total indulgence.

The Sunset Water Villas offer the ultimate in luxury with a glass-floored lounge and circular beds that rotate 180 degrees so you can enjoy sunrise and sunset.

The 12 Superior Water Villas have now been upgraded and completed, offering new jacuzzi's on a private sundeck, new furniture and many more features, these are some of the best water villas in the Maldives.

Restaurants & Bars

There are three restaurants and seven bars to choose from, including the Wine Cellar, where guests can enjoy some of the finest hand-picked wines in the world.

Ithaa Undersea Restaurant

Ithaa is the only aquarium-style undersea restaurant in the world. Set five metres underwater on a coral reef, Ithaa's innovative glass aquarium design gives diners 360-degree views of the surrounding reef life, while offering an exciting and novel Maldivian-western fusion menu. Ithaa, which means 'pearl' in the local language, promises a unique dining experience, with humans inside the aquarium and the fish looking in.

Recreation

Although the hotel is ultimately a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation, those in a more active frame of mind have plenty of recreational facilities to take advantage of.

The water sports centre offers anything from snorkelling to windsurfing, while deep sea fishing, diving and glass bottom boat excursions are other popular water-based pursuits.

Yoga, tennis and a gym are available for those who wish to stay on dry land, or you could simply laze the days away on the beach or by the pool.

Ms Cheryl Davison has recently joined Conrad Maldives Rangali Island as resident Naturopath. Cheryl is also a Reiki II practitioner and will allow Numerous opportunities for guests to learn more on how to improve their own nutrition and to be introduced to a healthy lifestyle.

The Over Water Spa

The stunning Over Water Spa on Rangali Island is set on stilts 50m out over the ocean. Here indulgent therapies have been effortlessly combined to provide guests with a chance to experience some of the most pampering treatments in the world. A team of professional therapists pamper to the needs of those looking for not only a relaxing holiday but a revitalising break in paradise.

Within the traditional timber structure of the Over Water Spa, the four treatment rooms are beautifully designed with natural wood interiors and thatched roofs, and offer outstanding vistas of the Indian Ocean. Three have spectacular glass floors providing unbeatable views of the colourful reef life below while guests are pampered above.

Guests can also enjoy the outside Jacuzzi in the tranquil relaxation area looking out of the Indian Ocean and couples wishing to have the most romantic experience ever can enjoy joint massages and treatments in a double treatment room.

Treatments range from traditional Thai, Shiatsu, aromatherapy and Swedish massages, to facials, holistic and skin care programs, cleansing and detoxifying treatments and soothing body masks of seaweed and mineral extracts.
