The Pench River meanders through hills, forests and valleys a perfect location for wildlife viewing including tiger and leopard. Twelve charming suites offer a 1950’s ambience surrounded by forests. All suites provide indoor and outdoor showers and stairs that lead up to a covered jungle rooftop platform complete with mosquito net, perfect for romantic sleepouts. Baghvan’s interactive open kitchen, offers cooking classes to learn and prepare traditional Indian dishes.

The twelve stand alone suites have a contemporary bungalow feel with a cheeky 50’s ambience, contrasting hues of copper and pale turquoise. Each spacious suite comprises two inter-linked buildings with a covered inter-leading link that leads to generously proportioned bathrooms with twin hand basins and indoor and outdoor showers. Within these charming suites there are stairs that lead up to a machan (a covered rooftop platform) which is perfect for romantic sleepouts, complete with mosquito net, overhead fan and hookah pipes.

At Baghvan enjoy the delight of the delicious flavours of Central India with the dishes available at Baghvan Pench Jungle Lodge. Different dishes are introduced at each meal, offering a range of mouthwatering dining experiences to enjoy.

Recreation

The Taj Spa is surrounded by the magnificent swimming pool with traditionally carved imposing lion-faced gargoyles. The Spa treatment rooms overlook the lush, inviting gardens and are warmed by the sultry sunlight coming through the windows.
