St. Moritz is synonymous with breathtaking and unforgettable skiing experiences. There are 60 modern lift facilities on 350 km of snow covered runs at altitudes ranging from 1800 to 3300 metres above sea level.

There is also 180 km of cross country skiing trails cutting across the landscape and leading into numerous romantic side valleys. Other activities include sledding, curling and ice skating, or why not try a bob run on the only remaining run in the world that is still fully made of natural ice. Alternatively, the cresta run is the ultimate adrenaline kick - at speeds up to 88 mph the skeleton slider shoots head first down the icy canal.

For something a little different, 'Polo on Snow' is held from 25th - 28th January 2007. Some of the highest-rated players worldwide join teams on the frozen lake to test their strategies, ponies and sheer ability against each other.
