Winter Activities

Situated in a natural basin at the foot of the Sella massif, surrounded by numerous peaks that all have their own unique shape but still have the characteristic jagged shape of the Dolomites, Alta Badia offers its visitors a multitude of experiences.

130 km of slopes are prepared every evening with the help of 40 snow cats, 53 lifts and a well developed system of snow making facilities. There is direct ski connection to more than 500 km of slopes in the Sella area and its central position in the Dolomiti Superski carousel (450 lifts and 1.220 km of best prepared slopes) make Alta Badia a number one skiing area.

Apart from skiing, you can also enjoy heliskiing and ice climbing.
