This 18th-century alpine inn is located in the pretty village of Lech, surrounded by spectacular scenery and at the gateway to the famous Arlberg ski area, with its 260km of powder slopes and 88 lifts – perfect terrain for all levels of skier. Hikes and sleigh rides through the snowy landscape are also available. The hotel is traditionally Austrian in flavour and has masses of charm. Most of the large, comfortable rooms and spacious apartments have balconies, and all have up-to-date facilities. When off the slopes, head to the hotel’s Aqua Castle. Here, you can swim, steam and sauna, or stretch out ski-weary limbs in the fitness room. The complex includes the Krone Spa & Beauty Centre, where guests can indulge in pampering massages and rejuvenative skincare treatments. The Romantik Hotel has long prided itself on fine dining, serving International cuisine and local Tyrolean specialities in its two restaurants; the traditional Kronen Stuben, and the Panorama Restaurant, which is the sole preserve of hotel guests.

Hotel Krone has the most popular Ice Bar in Lech - located outside the hotel at the base of the main piste from Oberlech. Between the hours of 4pm and 7pm the bar takes on a unique ambience of Apres-Ski fun.
