Overview

Perched high in the Swiss Alps, The Lodge is just a five minute walk from the town centre.

Verbier’s main ski-lift is close by and experienced skiers can ski back to the chalet. Each of the nine suites feature spacious bathrooms and private balconies whilst the two master suites boast separate living areas with feature fireplaces. The bunkroom for younger children comes complete with plasma TV, DVD and a games console. Guests can enjoy a cooking demonstration from the head chef, unwind with a spa treatment or a dip in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi’s or choose to relax in front of the fire with a book or DVD.

Recreation - Summer

Summer in Verbier is amazing as temperatures soar as high as 26C / 79F. Serious adrenaline junkies can enjoy a plethora of activities from paragliding and rock climbing to mountain biking, hiking and horse riding. There’s also an 18-hole golf course and sports centre with tennis courts nearby.

Recreation - Winter

Verbier is known as one of the world's most popular winter resorts and part of the "Four Valleys" ski area, which includes the ski resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz, and Thyon. There are plenty of runs for people of all abilities and experienced skiers can ski into the back of Chalet.

The team at The Lodge will drive guests back and forth from the main ski lifts each day, a mere 10 minute walk (in ski boots) from the chalet.

Children

At The Lodge, kids can become one of The Lodge Rangers. All children under 12 will be invited to take part and each ranger will receive a welcome pack with a Lodge Rangers backpack and t-shirt, as well as other goodies and surprises to make sure they're ready to hit the mountains.

Dedicated staff will be on hand to get them kitted out in their Ski Boots in Winter and to get them ready for bike rides in summer.

Here tailored games and activities are catered to all ages so no one feels left out. Here’s an idea of the sorts of things that are organised:

• Treasure hunts to help familiarise the Rangers with their surroundings

• In the summer they can play tennis, go bike riding, go on guided walks, go swimming and much more

• Pool parties in the indoor pool

• Story book time in their rooms and in the lounge including some old favourites

• Watching children's DVDs in the lounge or in the kid’s bunkroom

• Dancing the day and night away at a kiddie disco

• Playing games in the kid’s bunkroom on the games console

• Sledging and snowman building competitions in The Lodge’s garden (winter only). We’ll even teach them how to make great snow angels!

• Skiing. We can arrange the best ski instructors for all the Rangers to ensure they have a great day on the mountain (winter only)

•Skating parties on The Lodge’s mini ice rink (winter only; children’s skates provided) Every Lodge Ranger is different, so at The Lodge they can tailor a programme of activities depending on their likes and dislikes.

Additional Information

Verbier is located in south-western Switzerland. Travel time from Geneva to The Lodge is roughly two hours and Geneva Airport is served by all of the major international carriers.

Private planes can land at Sion Airport, approximately 45 minutes by car from The Lodge. You can also travel by train from Geneva to the chalet which takes about 2 hours. We'll be happy to make your transfer arrangements from the airport for you.
