Superior Rooms are located in the original part of the house and are quaint in decor and style, while Deluxe Rooms are large open plan rooms with views over the gardens, Kenmare Bay and Caha Mountains. Like all rooms in the hotel each is individually decorated with a selection of antique furnishings and oil paintings.
Chosen for their truly unique aspect, the nine Victorian and Master Suites are classically appointed accommodations. Each is tastefully decorated to reflect the gracious living of bygone days married with luxuries of today’s lifestyles. From large open plan rooms with private dining facilities to Victorian architecture with intimate sitting rooms and canopy beds, each commands breathtaking views over Kenmare Bay and the distant rolling mountains.

With its lovely location and views over the terraced gardens to the ever changing mountains across the bay, service in the elegant dining room is unfailingly outstanding. A stylishly restrained classicism has characterized this distinguished kitchen under several famous head chefs.
The bar has an outstanding selection of Irish and Scotch whiskies, and the hotel has been making its own whisky under licence, the first in Ireland since 1608.

The adjoining Kenmare Golf Club is a gem of a parkland course. A most enjoyable 9 or 18 holes can be reserved any day. Alternatively, the Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club located 3 miles from Kenmare is a challenging course with stunning views of Kenmare Bay and the rugged beauty of the Beara Peninsula. The hotel's golf consultant can be booked for a personal golf lesson that could range from advice on putting to a video analysis of your swing.
Other activities range from tennis to lawn croquet, cycling, walking and hiking amidst the glorious scenery of the hotel grounds and Reenagross Park, along with fishing, horse riding and scenic cruises of Kenmare Bay.
The Kenmare Diving Club is a P.A.D.I approved school offering a comprehensive range of services. Classes for both advanced and beginners are available together with daily dives and snorkelling trips.
