Méribel offers snow parks, snow rides and half pipes to satisfy keen snowboarders, while a range of other activities such as snowshoeing, snowmobiling, tobogganing and ice-skating are also attractive options. Les Trois Vallees is the most extensive linked ski area in the World and some of the best snow conditions in Europe are consistently found here. In Meribel-Mottaret there is a wide range of good blue and red slopes for the intermediate skier. La Saulire on the Courchevel valley offers some of the most challenging runs. With gradients of 38 degrees these are among the most taxing black runs in the world. Meribel-Motteret is in the centre valley and therefore ideally located for trips to Courchevel and Val Thorens in the other valleys.There are also more than a dozen cross-country routes in the area.
