Accommodation
One defining difference at Raffles is the size of the accommodation. Each of the guest rooms has an area of no less than 560 sq ft and all have private covered patios or terraces with comfortable lounge chairs and prime views overlooking the beach and sea.
Accommodation is either set on the Mezzanine Level, located on the top level of the resort's amphitheatre setting, or on the Orchestra Level, within the first four levels of the resort. This includes garden and ocean view rooms and suites with one, two or three bedrooms. In addition, the Personality Suites feature a private plunge pool.
For convenience and enjoyment, each guest room comes with its own golf cart for residents' personal use during their stay.
Restaurants & Bars
Raffles Resort has an outstanding selection of dining options at its European, Italian, poolside and beachside restaurants, each offering spectacular Caribbean views. The resort has seven distinct gourmet restaurants and bars offering a variety of cuisine: Jambu’s award-winning trans-ethnic cuisine and Godhal’s Beach Bar and Grill for casual Caribbean beachfront dining are open all day, while La Varenne, serving European cuisine, and La Piazza for authentic Italian fare are both open for dinner
After a sumptuous dinner, guests can proceed to the first European-style casino in the Americas and gamble the night away.
Recreation
The choice is yours; whether you prefer a view of the sea from one of the Caribbean's biggest swimming pools, or a swim in the crystal blue waters of the bay, or perhaps to gaze out lazily from your relaxing Asian day bed in the shade cast by a straw canopy.
For the more active, the resort's Tennis Centre at Godahl Beach offers four all-weather tennis courts, floodlit for night play, tennis pro shop and rental equipment.
Golf
The Trump International Golf Club, which has been named 'Best Golf Course' by the Robb Report, is where golfers will believe that they have found heaven on earth.
It is home to the resort's challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Jim Fazio. Offering unparalleled views of the bay, the course stretches 60 acres along the sea front, half of which is built on the flat coastal plain and the other half of which is carved out of the hillside above the bay and the resort.
Golf instruction, carts and rental clubs are available.
RafflesAmrita Spa
Raffles's signature RafflesAmrita Spa, which has been named 'Best of the Best' by the Robb Report, is located in one of the most spectacular natural settings on earth, inspired by the pristine elements of the Caribbean Sea - the winds, sounds and colours of the water.
Pure relaxation is the theme, along with treatments utilising the therapeutic benefits from the sea. Allow yourself the pleasure of nourishing treatments and exceptional care to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.
The treatment rooms are designed after palapas, thatched roof structures made of palm fronds. These spa suites, all private and comfortable, are built along the hillside and have striking views of the Caribbean Sea.
Relax on your own private ocean-view deck, with Jacuzzi, Asian day bed and a selection of RafflesAmrita Spa teas.
