Accommodation

Care has been taken to ensure the resort is in harmony with its surroundings. The 42 guest rooms, including island lofts and plantation suites, feature louvred windows, woven rattan ceilings and private terraces. Over half the rooms sit right on the beach; the remainder are set in the gardens just behind the beach.

The Southern Cross Villa comes with ocean views in a secluded setting, perched on a panoramic bluff on the eastern tip of the island. Including four timber decks, a tiled dining terrace, an arbor patio and its own infinity edge swimming pool, it is the last word in tropical luxury.

Restaurants & Bars

The elegant Royal Palm restaurant sits right on the white sands, every meal accompanied by ocean views and sea breezes. For a special occasion, you can order a picnic lunch and enjoy it in romantic seclusion on one of the Atlantic beaches.

After dark, the mood becomes decidedly elegant. Most guests meet for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the intimate beachfront bar, perhaps trying a rum punch before moving through to the restaurant. Dining is by lamplight, the a la carte menu featuring a wide range of choices that fuse international tastes with fresh Caribbean ingredients.

The Manager’s cocktail party and weekly Caribbean buffets combine with the regular evening entertainment to create a uniquely sociable ambience.

Palm Island also has a more informal beachfront restaurant, the ‘Sunset Grill’. Open to visiting yachtsmen, it offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu, its tables either inside or right on the sands.

Recreation

During the day, guests can either relax on the Caribbean beaches in front of the resort or stroll to one of the beaches on the Atlantic coastline.

Snorkelling, fishing and boat trips are all ways of exploring the waters, whilst a tennis court, bicycles, fitness room and massage and beauty treatments feature amongst the land-based activities.

The hotel also offers a wide variety of powerboat and sailboat excursions designed to introduce you to nearby islands in the Grenadines chain. You can be snorkelling in the Tobago Cays in less than 30 minutes, whilst Mustique, Petit St. Vincent, Mayreau and Mopion are all accessible on full-day trips.

All Inclusive

The resort's 'All Inclusive' policy means you rarely have the need to spend whilst in residence except perhaps for fine wine and Champagne or for personal items purchased from the Boutique.

Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included daily in addition to unlimited open bars and a choice of imported house wines with all meals.
