Rooms are located in pretty clapboard cottages surrounded by 12 acres of lush tropical gardens, home to a variety of exotic birds. Each room is smartly furnished and has a private terrace or patio.

The Ocean View rooms are located at the front of the property, closer to the beach and they offer a great sea-view from their traditional balconies.

Restaurants & Bars

The resort has an award-winning restaurant which offers a new menu each day; Caribbean and International cuisine is accompanied by fine wines. Its Palm Beach gazebos are perfect for private dining with friends or a special moonlit dinner.

A weekly champagne cocktail party and jazz or calypso performances provide entertainment, whilst occasionally visiting artists will play the only Steinway grand piano in the Caribbean.

Recreation

Cool off in the free-form pool with its swim-up bar and soothing fresh water, or take time away from a favourite novel to enjoy a guided nature walk around the resort. Escape amidst the many indigenous plants, flowers, trees and birds which form the beautiful gardens.

Out on the water, a small reef is home to a variety of local fish; snorkel or dive under the supervision of the Eastern Caribbean Divers’ School. If you want to stay dry, one of the hotel canoes or kayaks gives you the chance to tour the serene waters of the bay.

However you spend your time at East Winds, one thing is certain - the experience will be authentically Caribbean.
