Cotton Bay Village is one of the newest holiday experiences in the Caribbean. Not a hotel or traditional resort, it is perhaps an ideal cross between a private Villa self catering holiday and a destination resort. It is a small village sitting directly on Cotton Bay, an under developed stretch of sandy beach on St Lucia's picturesque East coast allowing its visitors to feel as though you are miles away from anywhere - but the beauty is that the excellent selection of shops and restaurants of bustling Rodney Bay are only a 10 minute drive away.

Accommodation

Cotton Bay Village offers accommodation in a variety of styles; apartments, suites, townhouses and villas. Ranging from one to four bedrooms, each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, plus separate living and dining rooms. Louvered windows, hardwood floors and king size four-poster beds give a Caribbean flavour, while air-conditioned bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, TV, CD and DVD players provide up-to-date conveniences.

An eclectic blend of colonial plantation, traditional mahogany, modern and French furniture gives each apartment a unique style and individuality. A covered patio/terrace gives the option of alfresco dining and the adjoining sun terrace is complete with sun loungers.

The one to three bedroom suites located around the 25m lap pool deck offer direct access to the pool deck. The three-bedroomed Coral Penthouse Suites are complete with a privet roof top sun deck and Jacuzzi.

With an open lounge, kitchen and alfresco dining terrace, three ensuite bedrooms and a private pool, the eight Terracotta Townhouses are complete with a private roof top sun deck and Jacuzzi. Some Townhouses have an additional pool cottage, perfect for a nanny.

The Village's most luxurious three bedroom Villas, Chateaux Mango are ideal for a family or a group of friends. Beautiful coral renderings and an entrance fountain immediately welcome you to this lavish dwelling. An entrance lobby opens up to a grand sitting area and a teak dining room with glazed vaulted ceilings. The villas come complete with an open terrace, garden with dining gazebo, private pool and a personal butler.

For the ultimate in colonial style Caribbean living, the Cotton Houses are the largest villas at Cotton Bay Village and can sleep up to eight, some with additional pool cottage. They are two storey affairs with double vaulted ceilings set off by a stunning chandelier complete with private pool, outdoor dining gazebo and personal butler.

Recreation

The Casuarina Spa and fitness centre provides a personalised sensory journey to unite mind, body and spirit. It features a wet area, couples private grotto, RASUL, Champagne Bar, beauty salon and exclusive treatment rooms.

Land sports on offer include the 18 hole championship golf course, beach volleyball and horse riding, whilst water babies will enjoy tornado windsurfing and kayaking.

Children

With its various villas, and half-mile stretch of beach, Cotton Bay Village specifically caters to families, groups and couples.

Children are welcome to participate in a variety of activities available year round. The Humming Bird Children’s club is available daily and offers varied activities for children aged 3 – 7 years old, and toddlers can also be accommodated when accompanied by a nanny.

A daily programme of land and water activities is provided for older children and teens.

Restaurants & Bars

Fine dining comes no finer than at Piano Piano Restaurant and Champagne Bar, serving Mediterranean cuisine and West Indian ingredients, heightened by influences from France, and Italy, Asia and India.

Other dining options include the barefoot elegance of the timber built Beach Club 14 61 and the Italian Deli “Bruschetta” located in the Village Square.
