Treasure Beach

Barbados

Overview

Friendly staff create a house party atmosphere in this delightfully small hotel with an award-winning restaurant.

Treasure Beach is a surprisingly well-kept secret, doubtless guarded by the many repeat guests who relish its quiet intimate charm. Accommodation

Built in a horseshoe shape around the freshwater swimming pool, the newly refurbished suites face the pool, gardens or directly onto the ocean. All have open air living areas extending to an outdoor patio or balcony, en-suite bathrooms with bathtub and walk-in shower and air-conditioned bedrooms. There are three special deluxe suites that are light and airy and have amazing sea views and feature a terrace with private plunge pool, a large whirlpool bath and walk-in shower for two.

Ideal for honeymooners, the renowned Hemingway Suite has undergone a complete make-over and is joined by two very special one-bedroom suites, the Hibiscus and Hummingbird Suites. These three suites enjoy stunning views over the white sand beach and turquoise sea and offer the ultimate in space and comfort. All feature a private terrace with plunge pool and Hibiscus and Hummingbird are located right on the edge of the beach.

Restaurants & Bars

The al fresco restaurant is an attractive split-level dining area with tranquil views across the swimming pool to the Caribbean Sea. The 'Gold Award' winning dining room features international as well as local cuisine. Already renowned as a first class dining experience, Treasure Beach's 'Al Fresco' restaurant now features a new retractable awning allowing guests to dine under the stars.

The cosy bar with mahogany countertop and wooden decking invites guests for get togethers, tempting tropical cocktails or a glass of champagne. Local newspapers, chess and backgammon are also available.

Recreation

Water sports can be arranged locally, although Treasure Beach specialises in more low-key activities: its library, TV lounge and some of the best sunsets in the Caribbean.

For those interested in eating out and shopping, the village of Holetown with its many restaurants and Shopping Plaza, is 5 minutes away by car. Treasure Beach is in easy access to all attractions that the island of Barbados has to offer, including golf on the renowned Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland championship courses.
