Overview

This classic Caribbean resort is deservedly a member of ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’ and has a dash of tropical style within its traditional elegance.

Owned and managed by the O’Hara family since the 1950s, the younger generation has introduced the style and requirements of today, whilst subtly retaining the finest traditions.

The new Spa has now been completed and is fully operational from 20th December 2009.

This lovely, spacious hotel contains just 88 rooms, cottages and suites which are set amidst the beautiful gardens spread across 12 acres of land.

The restyled accommodation overlooks the well-established gardens, enticing swimming pool or coral sand beach. Charmingly appointed in an elegant island style, the rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and private balconies, whilst the Luxury Cottages and Plantation Suites are the very last word in tropical comfort: complete with their own private plunge pools, they are ideal for romantic stays.

Restaurants & Bars

The restaurant overlooks the calm Caribbean sea in an open terrace of elegant and refined decor. The a la carte dinner menus change daily and offer choices of fresh seafood and dishes combining classical French cuisines with the exotic herbs and spices of the Caribbean.

The tastefully designed bar and lounge is just one of the many places for you to relax and enjoy cool tropical drinks. Coral Reef Club is infamous for its Rum Punch / Planter's Punch as being the best on the island.

Recreation

The wide range of recreational facilities on offer includes a dive school, two swimming pools, tennis courts with complimentary tennis coaching in the winter season, a children's playground, fitness room and complimentary water sports including windsurfing, snorkeling, waterskiing, kayaking and Hobie cat and Sunfish sailing.

There is also a 30 foot catamaran and a raft for guests to enjoy.

Guests also have the opportunity to play golf at the Tom Fazio designed Sandy Lane course, as well as having access to the exclusive Robert Trent Jones Jnr. designed golf course - the Royal Westmoreland.
