Bermuda

Overview

Located 800 miles north of the Caribbean Sea, Bermuda is surely one of the world’s prettiest islands. Its picturesque bays and magnificent golf courses exert a heady appeal on visitors.

The sub-tropical island of Bermuda lies 600 miles off the east coast of America in the Atlantic Ocean. The pink sands and turquoise coves are enhanced by manicured lawns and quaint cottages reflecting the island’s strong colonial heritage.

There is no trace of the slower, more laid-back style of the West Indies here; the way-of-life is sophisticated, the infrastructure is firstclass and the capital city of Hamilton is evidence of the high standard of living.

Bermuda is a water sports paradise: marvel at the diving available at over 400 historic shipwrecks or snorkel around the vast coral reef. Those looking for something a little more adventurous should sample big-game fishing, take a Boston Whaler around the bays or you may wish to sit back and relax on a chartered yacht.

Although Bermuda’s winter temperatures are very pleasant and golf can be played on the championship courses at any time of the year, serious sunworshippers should visit between April and November.
